Asia Research Forum (ARF) 2019

Fostering Cooperation in Asia through Interdisciplinary Research and Collaboration
8th – 10th July 2019, Manila, Philippines
CALL FOR PAPER
Submission Deadline: 31 May 2019

The ARF 2019 International Conference will be held on the 8th to the 10th of July 2019 at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines with the theme, “Fostering Cooperation in Asia through Interdisciplinary Research and Collaboration.”

In January 2017, the first International Conference of the Asia Research Forum (ARF) was held at Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. Interdisciplinary researchers from various countries and academic disciplines presented their researches and wholly agreed the need for interdisciplinary academic collaboration. This ARF meeting in 2017 was able to form a team for interdisciplinary research and collaboration who also agreed to launch an interdisciplinary scholarly journal, The Journal of Asia Research Forum (JARF).

The Second ARF Conference was jointly hosted by the Korea Myanmar Research Association with the theme, “Make a New Partnership and Create New Opportunities.” The conference gave impetus to interdisciplinary researches and explored how to strengthen academic collaboration in Asia. As we acknowledge, Asia is in the midst of rapid change and transformation in several sectors including academia. What fuels these sectoral improvements can be harnessed to support policies and projects in health, education, welfare, business, and technology.

The Third International Conference with the theme “Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Innovation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution” was held in July 2018 at the Keimyung University in Daegu, the Republic of Korea as a nod to the Fourth Industrial Revolution became the buzzword in Asia. The Fourth Conference had the theme “Culture and Modern Society in Asia” which was a collaboration with the Korea Myanmar Research Center and was held in October 2018 at the National Assembly Members’ Office, Republic of Korea.
